Dr. Frank Oeyenhausen is a German innovation leader and ecosystem builder, best known as the Managing Director and Co-Founder of the GATEWAY49 Accelerator, a startup initiative supporting founders across northern Germany. Through his work, he connects startups, corporates, research institutions, and public stakeholders to strengthen entrepreneurial culture and regional innovation capacity.
With a background in academia and entrepreneurship, Frank brings strategic perspective and long-term ecosystem thinking to his role. He is also Managing Director of the Technikzentrum Lübeck, where he actively shapes one of the region’s central startup hubs. His focus lies on collaboration, knowledge transfer, and building sustainable structures that enable startups to grow.
